University of Cambridge

The Cambridge Centre for Climate Change and Mitigation Research (4CMR) is a leading climate policy research group that forms part of the Department of Land Economy of the University of Cambridge. The centre’s work combines perspectives of the faculty of the Departments (economics, ecology, law, planning, finance, environmental policy, spatial analysis and others) with in-house expertise to find paths forward to reduce the risk of climate change and improve sustainability while allowing for global development.

4CMR has relevant experience in designing a mix of public policies, market instruments and programmes affecting the decisions taken by individual actors and organisations for human health and decarbonisation, land use and change, carbon reduction, energy intensive industries and new energy technologies.
